Prof. Dr. Dave D. Frisbie

Dr. Frisbie obtained a BS in biochemistry and then a DVM from the University of Wisconsin. He went on to complete a surgical internship at Cornell University, residency at Colorado State University as well as a PhD. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Orthopaedic Research Center at Colorado State University as well as a Partner in Equine Sports Medicine. This pairing allows Dr Frisbie the ability to conduct state-of-the-art research on current problems facing the equine industry as well as stay in touch with routine clinical practice. He specialized in orthopaedics and lameness as it relates to the athletic horse.

Dr. Holger Fischer

Dr. Holger Fischer obtained a DVM at the University of Milan where he continued to work as a surgeon for another year. He has been working at the Equine Hospital Großwallstadt for the last 14 years; first as an assistant and as a partner for the last 8 years.
His clinical interests are in orthopaedics and lameness as it relates to the athletic horse. He continues educational visits at premier Equine facilities in the USA and South Africa.

Dr. John D. Kisiday

Dr. John D. Kisiday has a PhD. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Bioengineering and specializes in stem cell culture and differentiation.  He is an Assistant Professor in the department of Clinical Sciences at Colorado State University and works in the Equine Orthopaedic Research Center. Dr. Kisiday along with Dr. Frisbie was integral in developing techniques for clinical application of stem cells in horse within the United States.
